What Do We Believe

SCROLL DOWN

What Do We Believe

What We Believe

GOD

We believe in a Trinitarian God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.  God is eternal, without beginning or end.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man.  We believe he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified dead and buried. On the third day he rose from the dead to redeem humankind.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is actively working in all of God’s creation.  We believe the Spirit is the source of all gifts and guides us to become more holy.

BIBLE

We believe in the Bible, both Old and New Testament. We believe the Bible was inspired by the Spirit of God to point humankind to Jesus, so that we could know and love Him.

SALVATION

We believe the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ allowed all believers to obtain salvation.  We believe all who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and strive toward holiness will maintain their salvation.

GOOD WORKS

We believe we were given life by God in order to do good works.  Good works include the instruction given by Jesus Christ in the Scripture (feed the hungry, clothe the naked, etc).  We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, while we remain obedient to the direction of the Spirit.
