The Rock began in Plaistow, NH as a bible study in July 2000 organized as an outreach ministry of St. Matthew's UMC. Local interest was evident in the attendance and by October 2000 The Rock began holding regular worship service on Sundays. On May 19, 2002 The Rockingham Church was chartered as a member of the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. Since the beginning our sister church has been a part of our life and shared staff, ministries, and resources. Visit the St. Matthews website for more information.
