This past Sunday was special. I want to clarify that I think every Sunday is special or at least it should be, but the reason I say this about last Sunday is that I got to see answers to prayer right before my very eyes. I witnessed the “church” in action being the hands and feet of Christ.  I witnessed two friends who had been at odds for a while, warmly and genuinely greet each other with a smile and a hug after a period of hurt and misunderstanding.  I was given a hug by a very special person who on Wednesday was in an operating room due to a heart attack and quite frankly, not sure how that was going to turn out. I saw an overflowing container of school supplies that had been collected for families in town who need a little help and then a basket pretty full of money that had been collected for another family that lost everything in a fire. I saw first hand the power of prayer for reconciliation and healing and I saw people putting their faith into action by helping others in need.  I think there might be something to this series we’re in….. Love one another, Serve one another, Forgive one another….. don’t you?

I look forward to sharing the next message in our one another series with you this Sunday.   Men have an awesome retreat; we will be praying for you!   God bless.       ~  Pastor Beth
